Washington State ECEAP
Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) is a comprehensive preschool program that provides free services and support to eligible children and their families. The goal of ECEAP is to help ensure all Washington children enter kindergarten ready to succeed.
The program includes:
- Preschool instruction [September – May]
- Developmental screenings and referrals
- Nutritious meals and snacks
- Health and dental screenings
- Home Visits
- Parent Leadership Opportunities
- Family Events
- Kindergarten Readiness Activities
- Transportation provided in some service areas
Children are accepted into ECEAP based on their age, family income, and other developmental or environmental risk factors.
ESD 112 partners with local school districts to offer ECEAP at the following center locations:
- Ocean Beach Early Childhood Center in Long Beach, WA
- White Salmon Early Childhood & Family Center in White Salmon, WA
- Naselle-Grays River Valley School in Naselle, WA
- Washington Elementary School in Vancouver, WA, in partnership with Southwest Washington Childcare Consortium
